This question HAS to be asked more than ANY other on all bulletin boards, and the answer is ALWAYS the same..........ALL current scanners made for and sold in the USA are cell-blocked and NOT RESTORABLE. The FCC mandates this in their "type acceptance" rules which FORBID manufacturers from producing ANY kind of scanner that can have cellular frequencies restored. ..in other words...NO..NO..NO )<:
