Okay, I have my house prewired when we built it for scanners. I have an antenna in the attic. It is split to make two runs. I think they used RG-58 Coax.
Now my current problem. I have a RG-58 coax connected to the wall plate and on the other end was a Motorola connector. I bought a Radio Shack "Motorola to BNC" adapter.
With the Motorola pin pushed all the way into the BNC adapter I don't get weather and good reception of the radio. If I back out the Motorola of the BNC adapter and wiggle it a little I get GREAT reception on Weather an most channels.
What other connectors do you all suggest that I can use? Do they make a connection from RG-58 with a screw on connector for the wall plate and a BNC on the other end without the ADAPTERS?
If NOT- what can I do to rectify this problem without rewiring the house etc., *grin*
Thank you for your assistance again!
