TRS Monitoring Only Tip

I have a distant TRS about 50 miles from here that I can monitor. To help keep track of the control channel I open the squelch all the way. This won't work if you are monitoring conventional channels also, but for pulling in that distant TRS
have the squelch fully counter clockwise will help prevent you from losing the TRS CC. Another tip is to lock out all channels except for the trunked system control channel.
