Winscan780 Mode setting?

There appears to be no way to set the Mode in Winscan780. It looks like it goes with the default. I want to set some VHF freqs to NFM and not only does Winscan not have a setting to do this, it does not keep my manual setting after uploading and downloading. This is a pretty big oversight!
