The BC780 has a diode in the appropriate place to suppress the squelch tail. If your radio still has a squelch tail, it is defective or not set up properly. Make sure the disconnect tone detect is not defeated for Motorola trunking. Also set the squelch control a bit above threshold rather than right at threshold. |
