No one can prevent you from going out and buying your own
Motorola or Ericsson radio. If you want to spend that sum of
money, go for it. I see them at ham fests all the time. Programming
might be a bit of a challenge but I know people who have done it.
I almost got one and then I heard Florida was switching to
Ericsson. Too bad. Not my brand of choice.Phil
