Faster PL/DPL display for BC-780

Has anyone tried any software that displays PL/DPL codes faster than the scanner does when not under computer control? I seem to remember something called Wintone or Steak Sandwich that used freeware or shareware to decode tones. I am just curious if this could be used in conjunction with a logging program for the BC-780.
