Well, I fixed the problem. Cloned my scanner to the new scanner. Then, I programmed the two trunk banks from my data file into the new scanner. I then deleted the old data files. I then "Read data from BC780" and created a new file. Then I added data to this new file. Everything worked fine after that.

I did notice one operator error. I did not add the last number in the trunked freq. if it was a 5. This does not need to be done when programming the scanner. But I found out that when entering data to computer sofeware, you must enter the complete freq. For example, if you enter 858.837 into the scanner it will enter as 858.8375 but if you enter 858.837 into the software it will enter as 858.8370. This might have been the problem.

And I will be purchasing the TrunkStar Program for the BC780 when it out. I hear TrunkStar's tech support is much better than WinScan. That really would not be hard though, all they would have to do is answer the phone and/or reply to email messages!

Thanks again for both of your help. This is the reason this is such a great site. Everyone is always willing to help everyone out!
