Bad news - its just one trunked system per bank.

Good news - that was just about all the bad news! You've already seen how easy it is to program the 780. You will continue to see how good the reception is, the squelch characteristics, and the display funtionality. The ability to upload/download freqs is just icing on the cake.

May I suggest you "fill out" that local bank with other local stations. This might be the park district, snowplow, or mall security. Use your other banks for the next town, or county and state police. Leave one or two open for testing new freqs.

I'm using Winscan780 from Pozilla and as the previous writer mentioned it is slow because of match to the bc780 screen. For me, it hasn't been a bother yet because I connect to the pc for backup purposes only. But I have set it up so that I can change out a couple banks for trips, or if I plan to monitor from work.
