Al - Try deleting the WinScan file that you are using, then go to OPTIIONS/COMMANDS, and create a NEW DATA FILE. I found that, for lack of a better word, the file was in some way, corrupted. Once I created a new file and then read the data from the scanner again, the file and the radio worked fine.
BTW, I also have TrunkStar780 (being one of the lucky beta testers), and it's a much, much better program, that does more and is not as 'buggy" as Winscan.
