Try your local Radio Shack. Ask for the Police Call Directory for your area. They come in different volumes covering 6-8 states or so each. Get the one for your state which is usually what the local store carries anyway. In the front area of the book it discusses fundamentals and gives a lot of useful information to those just starting in the hobby. They are about $12-14.00 at your Radio Shack. You'll be glad you got it especially when you get the 780, since it is also a very useful and economical frequency directory in the rest of the book. |
