I'm using a Radio Shack VOX recorder with my BC780XLT I have an
1/8 inch connector hooked to the Tape Out on the 780 to the Mic.
input on the recorder. I only have a few freq. set to record, but
each time there is an active freq. the VOX Recorder turns on even though
Line isn't on the display and I don't have the channel in question
set to record.
Do I have this set-up correctly?
My recorder has a remote jack but it's smaller than 1/8 inch, should
there be a signal even though the channel isn't set to record?
Do both end needs of the cable need to MONO or Stereo or does it make
no difference? If I plug the connector into the Ext. Speaker on the
780 the recorder will stay on full time.Thanks for any and all help!
