I have a case that holds 20 nimh "D" size batteries (Radio Shack rechargables), I use it to provide power to a number of things in emergencies. I have recently used it on my 780 and found that it lasted in excess of 12 hours, with the display on dim. The only problem is that the battery case is as large as the 780! |
