I am experiencing some strong signal overload/interference with my 780 and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me on how to get rid of it.
I am about a mile away from my local PD repeater on 460.375.
This frequency is overloading adjacent channels of 460.425, 460.125, and 460.250. It gets worse, all of these local PD's use the exact same PL. (Nice job Motorola...)
I programmed all of these in NFM mode.
I am using an external antenna and I realize that using the stock antenna might help, but I need it to receive other channels.
I am thinking that I need some kind of notch filter,or just a single frequency filter.
Not sure if they even make one.
I figure I am stuck between a rock and a hard place, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,
