If it is doing conventional freqs it shows in large letters SCANNING. If it is doing trunked freqs it shows ID SCANNING. It also displays the bank it is working,scan or search depending on which you are doing, dly, the trunk control channel it is reading at the time, and the signal strength of the control channel. The activity bars are also shown. At least that is what mine is showing right now. You can mask most of this if you want to with the screen mask feature.
