I use a small mag mount. I believe is made by Valor.
It is anout 13 inches tall, has a ? rare earth magnet ?
and a BNC connector. Is listed as a triband, and can be used for some transmitting. I am very well pleased with it. Mine was purchased from www.transeltech.com
If I center it on my BC 780 XLT I can lift the radio
by the magnet. It does very well on 800 MHZ, as it can be used for transmitting on Cell frequencies.
