Has anybody had a problem w/ the scanner not stopping on channels w/ a tone squelch assigned to it? My 780 will only stop on channels w/o a tone squelch unless when I turn the unit on, press the wx button, then a ALT icon comes on, then turn the wx button off. After that, I will receive all channels w/ a tone squelch. I know all tones are correct but for some reason the scanner will not recognize channels w/ a tone squelch unless I do the wx thing. Did I program the scanner wrong or am I in the wrong mode? I use it as a mobile unit. Any suggestions would help!
