I currently have my BCT-780xlt attached to a fairly good mobile antenna via <5 feet of RG-58 coax. Joining the coax & radio is a BNC connector. On 800 MHZ trunking, I'm getting quite good reception. Am I likely to see a SIGNIFICANT improvement in signal strenth on 800 by changing the coax to something w/ less loss (considering how short the run is) AND/OR changing the connector on my radio to "F" and thereby doing away w/ the BNC connection? Wondering if changing all that is worth the time/effort.I'd appreciate any input! Thanks. -Dave
