First, remember the old saying,if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The main reason people are changing to F connectors is that cable like RG-6 comes with them and they are easier to find. BNC connectors work just fine. Going to a better coax can make a difference if you are having trouble recieving the 800's but if you are doing ok now it may not be worth the trouble.
It sounds like you are close to your systems towers or they actually got them located right.If you plan on doing a lot of travelling or if you have some fairly far away systems you want to monitor then maybe changing the cable could help but if you are happy with it now, why bother?
