"After the long wait how is it performing for everybody?"

Mostly good. Selectivity gets on my nerves by the mobiles on freq.
155.445,.460 and .475. The mobiles usually stop on the wrong one and
I get a distorted conversations unless I'm near it to push scan.

"I had >purchased the Pro 2067, and I do not like the fact that I cannot stop it

Actually you can. Wait until the ID is active and hold the trunk button in until you
see it read ID hold on the display.

"did they keep this feature in the new one."

This in no dial on the 780, but yes you can select an ID like the 895.
The ID has to be active first on the 2067 until you can hold it.

"Will the 780 scan two or three trucking systems even
>different types, and conventional at the same time."

The 780 can do the above but not at the same time. Example: It will
scan trunk bank 1 (MOT 800) and hold on the data channel for one second, then
jump to bank two which we'll say is Edacs 800 and stop on that for one second,
then on to a LTR for one second and then scan some conventional frequencies.
So there would be a three second delay each time around before it scans conventional
freqs. assuming there is no trunk traffic which makes it inefficient for both.
It's best IMO to use at least two scanners at all times.
The only way to track three trunk systems and conventional at the same time would be to use at least four
scanners at the same time.
