Amen on #3. I also live in the DFW metroplex and I only use my scanner in the truck. I frequently drive between Plano/Richardson/Garland/Dallas and it's a real pain to switch between Mot type II trunked - to - EDACS trunked - to Mot type II trunked - to - non-trunked DPD. You could run off the road trying to switch. And the List numbers are so tiny that you have to look closely to see which scan list you have active. Sometimes I accidentally toggle scan lists on and off trying to activate other banks, etc... |
