Sorry first one had to many spelling errors!What type of coax are you using? You should use 9913 for the best results. If you are using RG-8 or other RG type of coax that is longer then 15 feet the loss is too great for your radio. Also check that your antenna connectors are all in good working order and that water has not entered the coax or corrided the connector at the antenna.
If you live in a area where it is wet in the winter then you should replace your coax once a year.
