The radio seems to lock onto the strongest signal and only tries to
reacquire a control channel after losing a signal for ten seconds or more.
I travel througout C and H troop daily, and the 780 has not missed a beat
yet while mobile (aside from fringe/poor reception areas). If and when the radio
seems to be having problems following the system I'll manually see how many active
control channels are being received. As an aside I got an Austin Spectra
antenna from Lentini's for my '780 and I give it ver high marks across the board.
