Another note. It makes no difference if you did this with
standard "trunk tracking" mode or "control channel" mode.
Not having to put in the voice channels gives you more room
for other stuff but it still works the same.Also, remember the point of Smartzone is SPECTRUM EFFICIENCY.
The whole point is to break up the coverage area into smaller
zones so the whole system is not transmitting. Only the zones
with members of that talkgroup in them. Otherwise it would be
pointless and could be called Stupidzone. It's very similar to
cellular technology except groups are in place of individuals.
