Yes they do! but, depending on your location, you may bring in interference that may cut out(overpower)some frequencies. Over all they have brought in towns/cities that I would have not received w/o a preamp...especially on mobile scanners. I would suggest getting one..what do you have to lose? Happy scanning! |
