on my 780 i have just a motorola trunked system for he massachusetts state police with no convential frequencys and in trunk scan my 780 drops out of trunk and goes to find the data ch. every so many min. is there a reason for this?? i tryed ocking out all the frequencys but the date ch and it seemed to make it get back in to trunk scan faster was this the right thing to do? is there any way to stop this from happening? i have missed the first second or 2 of a few transmisions because f this i had a 895 before and never had this happen however i still think the 780 is the better trunker because of alpha tags and stuff like that but does any one have any tips for me on scanning the msp trunk system in troop b also does anyone know if any other troops beside b can be heard from this area thinks in advance please mail me or put something on the board thanks
