the 780 is not fooled into thinking the system has changed its control channel.and it is not a bug.
some motorola trunking systems have 4 or 5 control channels that are changed every day or so.if the 780 did not have this feature it would not trunk when the control channel is changed. with this feature it looks for the new control channel and contunes to trunk the system.
